What's the hiring process?



1st Stage Initial Chat

You've got a first stage initial chat! In this first Teams call, we want to get to know you. At this stage it is an informal chat, please allow approximately half hour. We will load you with lots of information about the role, working life at Dovetail Games and it is also a chance for you to ask questions.

2nd Interview

Depending on the role, you may have been asked to complete a task ahead of a second interview with the team. In this next interview, we will dive deeper into your experience. You can expect knowledge based questions to gain insight into your skillset. You will also meet more of the teams you will be working with.

Final Call

We may want to set up final calls with any members of the team that were missed or are important for your role. These calls often relate to more senior roles, or larger teams.

Offer Stage

You made it! You will recieve a call from our Talent Team with your offer. Congratulations! Details of the offer will clearly be laid out to you and followed up by email. We will also include an onboarding pack with lots of information on what to expect in the weeks before you join. The team will be on hand to answer any questions.

Onboarding & Beyond!

Got the job? Whats next? We send out an indepth onboarding document detailing what to expect in the coming weeks.

A 'Buddy' will contact you the week before you join to answer any questions and assist you further during your first few weeks.

Your hours in the first week will be 10-3pm and on your first day you will be fully onboarded by our IT & People Teams.

With our enhanced onboarding programme, you will be given clear insights and documentation to empower you from day one for success.
