Job description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Brand Manager who will be responsible for our Trains titles, including our industry leading railway simulation games Train Sim World and Train Simulator Classic, which have sold over 8m units to date. We have ambitious growth plans, and would love to invite anyone with a passion for Brand, the Railways, and/or our games to join us on the next stops on our journey.

Working with the wider Community, Marketing, and Creative teams, you will ensure we have a clear brand architecture supporting our ambitious engagement and conversion initiatives. You will coordinate and execute our Go To Market plans, and manage their successful journey into live service and DLC releases.

Working with agencies where appropriate, you will ensure that organic, earned, and paid activity we undertake around key launches is budgeted, executed, and measured, in order to fulfil business needs.

You will be the Brand champion, and will represent it throughout the Studio, as well as with external partners.

Job requirements

  • Marketing team representative of our Trains brands throughout the team and Studio. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across campaigns

  • Manage the go-to-market plans and asset execution for annual Core releases, alongside first-party and third-party DLC expansions

  • Help us grow a service infrastructure around TSW as we embrace data lead performance marketing

  • Own the media and brand budget for the TSW franchise

  • Lead on discussions with internal and Creative teams to source marketing assets

  • Work with the Community and Social teams alongside media agencies to ensure that we are maximising our owned and earned media coverage

  • Manage the relationship with our Digital Marketing and Dovetail Live teams to ensure we grow our platform infrastructure and maximise the effectiveness of our player acquisition funnel

  • Provide regular reports on Marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and Paid performance

What we look for in you

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a brand marketing role, but will consider applicants with other commercial or marketing experience alongside Railway enthusiast subject matter knowledge

  • Marketing education or proven relevant experience

  • Skilled at presentation creation and delivery, using MS Office

  • Highly motivated, with a positive and proactive attitude

  • Organised, with the adaptability and ability to work in an ever-changing landscape

  • Team player, taking an interest in educating other members of the team as well as enjoying working with others

  • A history of creating innovative and practical Branding and Marketing campaigns

  • A keen interest in our games and/or the Railways

  • Familiar with the latest marketing trends

  • Proficiency in graphic tools is a bonus

  • Additional language (particularly German) is a bonus

  • On-camera experience is a bonus
