Our studio is situated in a river-front building in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series S/X.


We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting IT systems, including Windows Server, virtual machine environments, and Office 365. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure.

Job requirements

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain virtualised environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) ensuring high availability and performance
  • Manage Office 365 users, licenses, email systems, and collaboration tools (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Build, configure, and maintain PCs, servers, and other hardware components. Perform hardware repairs as necessary
  • Support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Troubleshoot network issues and ensure uptime and security
  • Implement and manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for IT-related issues, escalating to the appropriate team when necessary
  • Ensure the security of systems through best practices, patch management, and vulnerability assessments

Person Specifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar IT Systems Administrator role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016, 2019) and related technologies
  • Experience managing virtual environments (Azure, VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including email, collaboration, and user management
  • Hands-on experience with PC and server hardware, including building and repairing systems
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, VPNs).
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Knowledge of security best practices, patch management, and vulnerability assessments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
