Our studio is situated in a river-front building in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series S/X

As Art Manager you will oversea the entire outsourcing process, managing Art Production pipelines, and ensuring timely coordination between all relevant teams.


The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills to assist with increasing demands and maintain the quality and schedule of our products.



Job requirements

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and improve art department processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring smooth integration of art processes.
  • Develop and implement outsourcing strategies aligned with the creative vision.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring quality and timely delivery of assets.
  • Oversee quality control processes for all outsourced work.
  • Lead and mentor Art Producers to manage day-to-day art asset production.
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and project planning for the art department.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimizing production workflows.
  • Create and maintain training programs to foster continuous learning and improvement.


Person Specifications

  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership abilities to guide teams and manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Project Management: Proficient in scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management, with experience in project management tools.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Process Optimization: Ability to develop and refine workflows, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the game development process, art production, and industry best practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital art tools (e.g., Photoshop, Max, Maya) and project management software (e.g., Jira, MIRO).
